ENCHANTED

Well I've never been much for erotica. I find it kind of boring. Especially when it comes to short story compilations. I usually read the first 3 stories when I'm feeling naughty but they always start sound like the same shit by the fourth. This collection of stories is the exception. It's erotica with a fairy tale twist. It keeps my interest because it's exciting to see how they're gonna pervert children's fairy tales. Very entertaining. Anyway the first book (Enchanted) came out in 2006 and the sequel (Enchanted Again) came out recently. They're by Nancy Madore. I'd totally recommend it. I'm also gonna try her erotic fairy tale Twelve Dancing Princesses.

Going through a crappy situation in my personal life at the moment. It reminds me of when I was in love with Eminem during junior high and high school. This is my absolute favorite song from him (out of the singles at least). It's something I still relate to to this day. HOW COME I NEVER HEARD ABOUT THIS SINGLE?

I'm kinda pissed that I knew about Cassie's dumb ass song Official Girl and I never knew Ashanti had a third single. Don't get me wrong Ashanti does lack powerhouse vocals but hell so does everybody else these days. She's really earned my respect as a song writer. Her lyrics are real damnit and once again she stays true to herself and doesn't just jump on whatever bandwagon is hot. Mainstream media just does not support individuality these days. But fortunately I do. Even though I'm mad late on this song I say better late than never. So check out Ashanti's third single off of the Declaration Good Good.

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO AMERIE?

Ok this is the first time I can actually answer this question. I know exactly what happened to Amerie. It's the same thing that's happening to Ciara now. The market for female solo R&B artists is too saturated. Her competition was too stiff and she wasn't serving up enough attitude. I guess people just don't like sweet and innocent these days. But I liked that she was sweet and innocent. Not every woman can be all Sasha Fierce and not every woman should be. She was being herself and everyone knows that's something I always respect. I hear she's still doing well in Europe. I hope she'll try the states again someday.


This is her video for Take Control. It's a single that I'll bet no one knew she even had. I sure as hell didn't but that's because its the first single off her third cd (Because I Love It) that she never released in the states.

OK I haven't forgotten about the men. I know Jay isn't really known for his style but I think he's being slept on in that department. I like that he looks sharp without over doing it on the bright colors and crazy patterns that are so in now. He stays true to himself and knows what suits him.

Keri Hilson just keeps breaking me heart man. I know she has the potential to really wow the music industry and I think she's really talented but for some reason she just keeps coming with some mediocre crap. The video for return the favor was hot but the song was wack. Both the video and and the song for energy was boring. Now I like the song Turning Me On but I'm not impressed by the video at all. Seriously there's a huge void in the female urban fashion magazine circuit. There's no more Honey and no more Suede and no more Vibe Vixen. This isn't fair. Why are all my urban females out there not supporting the good urban fashion mags? Now we're left with basically nothing. I guess we have to just rely solely on the bloggosphere now.
